Rick Gobbell

About Us

Rick Gobbell, our senior member, served at both State and Federal truck enforcement agencies for more than 36 years.  He started his career at the Tennessee Public Service Commission in 1973 as a commercial motor vehicle roadside inspector.  He then served at the former Interstate Commerce Commission as a District Supervisor until 1978.  Rick completed his federal service career at the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in 2007.

During these years, Rick conducted about 10,000 roadside truck inspections and more than 1,000 Safety Compliance and Hazardous Materials audits and investigations.  He investigated hundreds of truck crashes.

 

Beverly Gobbell is our Business Manager/Safety Specialist.  Bev has more than 30 years experience working in government agencies, as a contractor and more recently serving as a Legal Assistant in a law firm in Franklin, TN.

 

 

 

 

Betty Sumerlin, our Safety Management Specialist, brings a wealth of people management skills and experience to our company.  She served as a mid level and senior manager for several large companies prior to joining our company.

 

 

 

 

 

Winston Gobbell, our newest employee, brings little background and experience in the trucking industry to our company.  However, Winston has agreed to serve as our mascot, constant companion and in the event he is need, our sergeant at arms.  Winston has agreed to work for food and shelter.
